5th edition of the Manzanoarte Social Performing Arts Festival

Manzanoarte

Manzanoarte is not just a performing arts festival; it is a vibrant beat of hope and social transformation born in the heart of Venezuela.

Since 2018, the Manzanoarte Foundation has been dedicated to building bridges through art, bringing the magic of circus, dance, theater, and music to communities that would otherwise not have access to these enriching experiences. Their goal is clear: to make art accessible to vulnerable communities, to make it less elitist, and to nourish the minds of those who need it most.

The festival was co-founded by Zorybel Garcia and Luis Bogado (Cie Los Babouinos), two artists from Venezuela with strong ties to Switzerland. They trained in circus  at the theater Cirqule and then completed a master’s degree in theater arts at the Dimitri school.

Estelle met them about fifteen years ago in Sion, at the Zôfy circus school. Zorybel is the outside eye for the upcoming production Mais les homards du Titanic, eux, sont encore vivants !

Sharing a commitment to socially & politically engaged movement art, the exchange between the artists grew, and the Manzanoarte team invited Estelle to participate in the Festival as an artist and teacher.

She will give workshops and present her wire act I had a dream, a solo inspired by the show Gnoko Bok.
